(DUBLIN, Ireland) – Carr Golf  – Ireland, Scotland and England’s premier provider of unforgettable golf experiences – announces registration is open for its 2019  World Invitational Father & Daughter Tournament to be held July 23 – 26 on County Kerry’s celebrated Waterville Golf Links.

Teryn Gregson – award-winning journalist, golf presenter and PGA Tour on-camera host – will play in the event for the second consecutive year.

“This tournament is phenomenal for women’s golf,” says Gregson. “It doesn’t matter if you play really well or if you don’t play so well, it’s just all about getting out and playing this joyous game with other women as well as the men who’ve had such positive impacts on our lives.”

Next year marks the 12th anniversary for the event, which has become a mainstay on Carr Golf’s annual roster of prestigious tournaments. Highlights include three rounds of golf at Waterville (ranked world No. 55 by Golf Digest), deluxe nightly accommodations, welcome reception, daily meals, tournament sponsors gift pack, shuttle transportation throughout, prizes and a gala dinner. Tournament entry starts from $5,999 per team.

“Seeing fathers and daughters from across the globe come together to tee it up on one of the world’s finest courses is truly special,” says Marty Carr, executive chairman of Carr Golf. “This fun, jubilant event is also an ideal way to participate in the flourishing ‘#inviteHER’ social media campaign championing the participation of more and more women into this wonderful game.”

This past July, Carr Golf hosted 34 father and daughter teams hailing from the U.S., Canada, Bermuda and Ireland. Playing out of New Jersey’s Fiddler’s Elbow Country Club, Tim and Brittany Baxter won the 36-hole net event in the “Better Ball Stableford” format. Bill and Olivia McCloy of Maketewah Country Club (Ohio) won the gross division.

Prizes awarded aren’t limited to on-course play. Lydia and Hugh Barit of Bermuda’s Mid Ocean Club won this year’s award for “Best Dressed” and Ms. Barit also won the social media competition.
