Augusta's First Tee Youth Benefit from Local Partnership

Club Car Presents Check to Next Generation of Golfers

(Augusta, GA) - The First Tee of Augusta and a group of young golfers recently gathered for golf lessons and also met with Club Car representatives for a check presentation to benefit the First Tee’s Ace Scholarship program. The scholarships are available for youth who participate in a certification program which focuses on personal planning and reinforces skills such as goal setting, interpersonal communication and resilience.

Club Car and The First Tee of Augusta have had a longstanding partnership since the program’s inception in 2001. Club Car’s ($2,000) check donation will be allocated for two First Tee participants who will be awarded with the First Tee’s Ace Scholarship, available for those youth who participate in a certification program which focuses on personal planning and will reinforce skills such as self-management, goal setting, self-coaching, interpersonal communication, and resilience that were applied in earlier levels of the program.
