Ben Hogan Golf Equipment Company Introduces 2020 Club Fitters and Builders Program

Effective January 1, 2020, Accredited Club Fitters and Builders will be able to Buy Ben Hogan Golf-branded Club Heads Directly from the Company for use in their Custom Club Making Businesses

(Fort Worth, Texas) — Coming off its best sales year  in recent history, the Ben Hogan Golf Equipment Company has introduced new Club Fitter and Builder Program. Effective January 1, 2020, accredited club fitters and builders will be able to buy Ben Hogan-branded club heads directly from the Company for use in their custom club building businesses.

“On the heels of our successful 2019 product launches, including the PTx PRO irons, GS53 driver and fairway woods and Ben Hogan Precision Milled Forged Putters, we have been inundated with demand from club builders to gain access to Ben Hogan club heads for their private club fitting businesses,” said Scott White, CEO, Ben Hogan Golf Equipment Company. “Just like our factory-direct-to-consumer business model, which eliminates retail mark-up, this new club fitter’s program offers high-performance forged club head pricing that is unmatched in the industry. It will allow club builders to offer their customers the best golf equipment in the world at the best pricing, while still recognizing a strong profit margin.”

White adds, “Selling directly to serious golfers at BenHoganGolf.com has proven to be a highly successful business strategy for the Company, but more important, it’s a convenient, efficient and cost-effective way for serious golfers to purchase great golf equipment.  Now, through these nationwide club fitter partnerships, we can offer Ben Hogan golf equipment through a secondary channel and  while further enhance the custom golf club experience for golfers.”

Today, exclusively through www.BenHoganGolf.com serious golfers can purchase 100% forged clubs for about half of the price of competitive tour-quality equipment sold through traditional retail channels.  Buying directly from the Ben Hogan Golf Equipment Company saves a golfer hundreds of dollars per purchase, as compared to buying name competitive golf clubs at golf shops and sporting goods retailers, where  high margin requirements, mark-ups and other costs are passed onto the consumer, via the final sale price.

Better yet, Ben Hogan Golf remains firmly committed to Mr. Hogan’s mission to "design and manufacture the best golf clubs in the world" with "the most exacting tolerances modern machinery will allow."  All products are designed specifically for serious and accomplished golfers, and are hand-crafted using Ben Hogan Golf’s proprietary club building process. The Company’s team of craftsmen, some of whom worked with Mr. Hogan directly for many years, builds each individual club and set of irons one at a time, to exacting, individual specifications.  Mass production techniques are not utilized at Ben Hogan Golf Equipment Company.

And, recognizing that many golfers want to personally experience equipment before they purchase, the Company offers a simple, risk-free Demo program, as well as a Trade-UP program where golfers can offset the cost of their purchase by selling used equipment back to the Ben Hogan Golf Equipment Company. The Company reports that over 70% of people who try Ben Hogan Golf equipment via the Demo Program end up making a purchase.

Club fitters and builders interested in participating in the new program can email Ben Hogan Golf at CustomClubs@BenHoganGolf.com, or call the Club Fitter and Builder hotline at (817) 406-1782.
