PING Apparel Expands Sensor Technology for Autumn-Winter
“We’re committed to delivering premium products that are consistent with the quality and innovation that make PING one of only a few authentic golf brands,” said Andy Solheim, PING Executive Vice President. “Innovation begins with our in-house design and development teams working in close collaboration with partners like COOLMAX to offer cutting-edge designs that perform in all playing conditions.”
PING Apparel is also introducing its first golf pant to the U.S. market. The Lennox, a five-pocket chino-style pant, offers mechanical stretch and moisture-moving properties, is quick drying and crease resistant.
“We’ve done extraordinarily well with our pants in Europe,” Solheim said. “We’re excited to bring the same technology and innovation to the states so golfers here can appreciate the advanced performance, comfort and easy care the Lennox provides.”
In the outerwear category, PING Apparel has teamed with Pertex, to elevate PING’s proprietary SensorDry technology to offer a higher level of waterproof and windproof performance, backed by a three-year waterproof guarantee. With the introduction of the Zero Gravity Playing Top, PING is expanding the Zero Gravity product line. Utilizing a 2.5-layer Pertex Shield+ stretch fabric, the Zero Gravity Jacket, Playing Top and Vest offer comprehensive layering options for lightweight all-weather protection. The jacket remains a favorite of PING Apparel Ambassadors, including Louis Oosthuizen.
PING Apparel is a new PING, Inc. business entity developed using the following design language: clean, considered, timeless, tailored and authentically cool. Every garment is engineered with one of three proprietary Sensor technologies - SensorCool, SensorWarm and SensorDry - and offers a contemporary fit, engineered for full freedom of movement.
