Streamsong Red ranked #52 and Streamsong Blue ranked #62, making them the highest debuting courses on the list
(Streamsong, Fla.) - Since opening less than a year ago, Streamsong Resort has received numerous accolades for its two outstanding golf courses - Streamsong Red and Streamsong Blue - and this week the resort added one more to its growing list: the two highest debuting courses on GOLF Magazine's annual "Top 100 Courses in the U.S." ranking.
In its Sept. 2013 issue, the publication will recognize Streamsong Red as #52 and Streamsong Blue as #62 on the Top 100 list (public or private), placing the two courses among the most highly praised and rated golf courses in the U.S.

Streamsong Red, playing to 7,148 yards, features striking landforms, large lakes and rolling terrain, while Streamsong Blue, measuring 7,164 yards, features wide fairways, massive bunkers and extreme elevation changes. Both courses feature MiniVerde Ultra Dwarf Bermudagrass on greens with 419 bermudagrass on fairways and tees.

Streamsong Resort is being built on approximately 16,000 acres of former phosphate mining
land and includes the extraordinary terrain where Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw of Coore & Crenshaw and Tom Doak of Renaissance Golf Design leveraged their architectural talents to create two unparalleled, intersecting golf courses unlike any other in Florida.
The resort's Main Lodge, designed by Alfonso Architects, is set to open in early 2014 and will feature 216 luxury guest rooms, 14,000 square-feet of flexible conference and meeting space, casual and fine dining and a full-service spa. The Lodge will also include outdoor reception areas, a lakeside pool, a hiking and birding trail, tennis, and guided bass fishing.
