PGA TOUR Commissioner Tim Finchem discusses his life and prolific career on Feherty, May 4

(ORLANDO, Fla.) – On a special episode of the popular Golf Channel series, Feherty, David Feherty sits down with PGA TOUR Commissioner Tim Finchem for a wide-ranging conversation covering his life, his career and 21 prolific years leading the world’s top golf tour.

Among the topics discussed during the episode, Finchem recalls his early career as a lawyer and White House Advisor to the President, as well as how being the son of a military man affected his approach to life. He describes his PGA TOUR career and the initiatives begun during his tenure, including The Presidents Cup international match-play competition, the season-long FedExCup points competition and its playoffs, and the World Golf Foundation’s The First Tee initiative, which has impacted the lives of more than 6 million young people. Finchem also talks about the seismic changes that occurred on Tour with the ascendance of Tiger Woods.
