GolfTEC Training Camp is a Perfect Way to Jump Start Golf Season

(Centennial, Colo.) - Baseball’s spring training may be weeks away, but golfers can prepare right now for their best year ever with a personalized Training Camp program offered exclusively by GolfTEC, the undisputed leader in golf improvement.

Now available at 180 GolfTEC Improvement Centers throughout the North America - including 70+ in Golfsmith stores nationwide - Training Camp is an all-inclusive package of lessons, video practice and club fitting designed to get golfers of any skill level ready for an outstanding year on the course.

Each golfer’s Training Camp begins with a total Swing Evaluation by a GolfTEC Certified Personal Coach, captured on video with sophisticated motion measurement technology. The Swing Evaluation is included and is followed by a series of 10 private lessons inside specially equipped GolfTEC training bays. Additionally, 18 hours of video-based practice is included in each golfer’s “Training Camp” schedule.

“Last year’s debut of Training Camp allowed many of our students to start the year  in the right direction,” said Joe Assell, President and CEO of GolfTEC.  “With consistent practice in our training bays, golfers worked on their swing improvements in the pre-season and took their games to the course ready to go.”

GolfTEC instruction is based on the proprietary g-SWING system, which combines digital video with motion measurement, capturing key body positions at 24 points in the swing. A simple color-coded display guides instruction and reinforces swing changes.

But lessons don’t end at the center’s doors. Using the personalized, online Player Performance Center, every student can review his or her lessons—including full video and the coach’s instructions—anytime and anywhere via the Internet.

“Training Camp” also includes a precision club-fitting of the golfer’s current set of clubs, with recommendations for ways to get more out of existing equipment as well as the best possible upgrades to the latest in woods, irons, and putters. GolfTEC’s club-fitting system suggests clubs from all major manufacturers, which can be ordered directly from the GolfTEC Center.
