Wilson Golf Continues Support Of The Breast Cancer Research Foundation Through Its Hope Line of Premium Women's Golf Equipment

Wilson makes a minimum annual donation of $100,000 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation to fund clinical and genetic research worldwide

(CHICAGO) - As Breast Cancer Awareness Month begins in October, Wilson Golf, the Chicago-based company whose irons have captured more Major Championship titles than any other golf club manufacturer - 61, today announced that it will continue to support The Breast Cancer Research Foundation by donating one percent of its sales from the Hope line of premium women's golf equipment to support clinical and genetic research worldwide. This marks the 14th consecutive year Wilson Golf has partnered with BCRF, supporting the organization throughout the year.

"We are proud to be a long time supporter of The Breast Cancer Research Foundation through the Wilson Golf Hope product line since 2004," said Tim Clarke, general manager of Wilson Golf. "The Hope product line provides our consumers with quality women's golf equipment and a way that they can join our team to support a great cause."

Wilson, the Official Sporting Goods Equipment Sponsor of The Breast Cancer Research Foundation, donates a minimum of $100,000 annually to the organization. To date, Wilson has donated more than $2 million to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

The Hope product line of women's golf equipment currently consists of the Hope Platinum box set and includes a cart bag, golf balls, a golf glove, a putter and a wedge. Hope golf balls are also available in an 18-ball eco-pouch in addition to the standard dozen and six-pack offerings in clear, pink and hot pink. In addition, there are matching accessories available in headwear, gloves and umbrellas.

For 2012, the Hope Platinum box set has been updated with a new, fresh look incorporating a sleeker color scheme which features the iconic pink ribbon - the premier symbol of breast cancer awareness.
