Nike Golf Appoints Nate Radcliffe as Director of Engineering
(BEAVERTON, Ore.) - Nike Golf announced the appointment of Nate Radcliffe to the Director of Engineering for golf clubs, according to Rob Arluna, Global Golf Club Business Director for Nike Golf.
Radcliffe comes to Nike after working for 11 years at Cleveland Golf/Srixon, where he served in a range of Research, Development and Brand Management roles. Most recently, Radcliffe was the Senior Development Manager (R&D) for Cleveland Golf Products, where he led multi-functional development teams in the conceptualization, design and development of all hard good products.
“We are thrilled to bring Nate on board,” said Arluna. “He has the vision and knowledge to push the limits when it comes to innovation and performance. He’ll be joining Tom Stites and our talented team of engineers who continue to bring inspiration and innovation to golfers around the world.”
Prior to his most recent role at Cleveland Golf/Srixon, Radcliffe ascended through various roles from Metalwoods Development Manager to Managing Research Groups and serving as the Senior Research and Design Engineer.
“I have been very impressed with how far Nike Golf has come in a short period of time and am very excited about where the company is headed,” said Radcliffe. “I am looking forward to being a part of what promises to be an exciting time for Nike Golf.”
Radcliffe earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Michigan State University in Mechanical Engineering and Biomechanics. At Michigan State University, he completed his graduate studies under the guidance of renowned Biomechanist Dr. Robert Hubbard, inventor of the HANS device neck support now standard in automotive racing.
Radcliffe will be relocating to Fort Worth, Texas, where Nike Golf’s Club Research and Development facility, The Oven, is located.
