Broadcaster, Golf Exec Empowering Professionals to Master their Messages for Career Success

(Orlando, FL) – Veteran golf broadcaster and executive Kraig Kann has quietly become one of the industry’s most influential corporate coaches and prolific public speakers. As founder and managing director of Kann Advisory Group, Kann is parlaying his on-air experiences from Golf Channel and his years in sports communications into an ever-expanding career as a sought-after speaker, expert communications and media consultant and renowned leadership workshop facilitator.

Kraig Kann
His mission is to help businesses, including golf companies, master the presentation of their own brands and his newest professional venture carries with it a dynamic coaching model, choreographed with the customer at the forefront and based around his unique approach to storytelling, presentation skills and brand-building.

Mike Elliott, President of Golf at Greg Norman Collection, was one of the first to solicit Kann’s keynote and seminar for his company’s annual sales meeting two years ago. “Kraig’s unique way of sharing an energy and enthusiasm for life and sincerely helping others, proved to be contagious as we saw people becoming more confident, concise and clear in their communication,” Elliott said. “The morning following his presentation, I started the day by asking everyone who attended to rate his presentation on a scale of 1 to 10 and the average came back at 9. Unquestionably, the highest rating we have ever had.”

Kann’s experience as a professional communicator and strong passion for the golf industry is evident if you’ve ever heard him speak.

“I don’t ever ‘just give a talk.’ If I’m addressing a corporate group, PGA Section or any conference filled with industry leaders, I want them to walk away having had a transformative experience,” Kann said. “People who are part of any organization need to realize the importance of being their own brand and building it for the benefit of their organization. ‘Standing Out When You Stand Up’ is critical in today’s business world, so I preach the importance of communication as it relates to successful leadership, marketing and sales and I coach people to be more effective presenters.”

One of the original six studio hosts for NBC Sports’ Golf Channel, Kann spent 16 years telling golf’s biggest and most indelible stories. From Tiger Woods’ “Hello, World” press conference, to his breakthrough 1997 Masters victory, to his heroic victory at the 2008 U.S. Open to every major event in between, Kann was there— and in millions of viewing households— living out his dream job. Over time, his vision expanded and his focus shifted toward helping organizations and individuals strategically develop their brands.

In 2011, Kann left full-time television and took on the role of Chief Communications Officer for the LPGA, where he was part of a dynamic leadership team that raised the organization to new levels of prosperity, exposure and global influence. His creative and innovative approaches to storytelling, marketing communication and media relations elevated the tour’s influence with audiences worldwide.

During his run at the LPGA, he admits to being labeled “an ideas guy” and after five rewarding years with the organization, including a spot on the golf communications committee for the 2016 Rio Olympics, he decided to put his biggest idea yet into motion. He founded Kann Advisory Group in the fall of 2016 and it has become the focus of his energy and his heavy travel schedule ever since.

Kann’s growing slate of offerings includes his signature interactive eight-hour experience he calls “The Elevate Workshop,” which has quickly become the biggest part of his business. Fast-paced and high energy, this branding and bonding experience has been called “hands down the most powerful experience on leadership communication” and comes complete with a custom workbook and strategic exercises he encourages his audience to complete and then present in front of the group.

John Screen, Vice President U.S. Sales at Titleist has put Kann’s unique leadership experience on the company calendar multiple times. “We have had great success with sales training sessions from Kraig over the last two years,” Screen said. “His ‘Elevate Workshop’ has helped our team ‘get comfortable with being uncomfortable’ and they have come out energized on how they can increase their sales through how they represent themselves and the Titleist brand.  We are looking forward to the additional sessions we have booked in 2020 and beyond.”

Kann is still deeply involved in sports media. He is on a short list of current and former broadcasters selected to lecture and mentor at the Dan Patrick School of Sportscasting at the Full Sail University campus in Orlando. Working with the next generation, Kann helps students find their unique voices and develop the skillset that will help set them apart in a competitive field. His students can hear him in action as he also hosts “Connected” with John Cook (Mondays at 3pm EST) on SiriusXM’s PGA TOUR Radio as well as weekend editions of the “PGA TOUR Post Game Show” with Mark Lye.

During his run at the LPGA, Kann was twice featured in Sports Business Journal as an industry influencer. In addition, PR News, Sports PR Summit and Forbes have identified Kann as a top keynote speaker, featured industry panelist, communications council member and content contributor in areas of public relations, brand marketing, public speaking and strategic communications.

For Kann, the coming weeks hold the launch of his new podcast series and the release of a book that combines the story of his career path with the passion he has to improve and empower people. Multiple speaking opportunities are also on the schedule, providing the chance to leave big audiences with a message that is definitely connecting.

Patrick Seither, President & CEO of Golf Business Network gave Kann the microphone at the organization’s annual meeting in January and left as a fan. “Every individual in the room was locked into him for over an hour and the immediate and follow-up feedback was overwhelmingly positive,” Seither raved.”  “There was a line of people waiting to speak with Kraig and take pictures afterward and noticeable buzz outside the doors after he was done.”

“In one word, I’d call myself an elevator,” Kann says. “I elevate people, brands and events to be bigger and better. I want to help raise levels of awareness and get people noticed. Whether it’s an individual or corporation, my goal is to inspire and empower people to connect with their audience, own their story and generate a bigger following for their brand.”

In this fashion my partner Wesley Virgin's report launches in this SHOCKING AND CONTROVERSIAL video.

Wesley was in the army-and soon after leaving-he unveiled hidden, "MIND CONTROL" secrets that the CIA and others used to obtain everything they want.

These are the EXACT same methods tons of famous people (notably those who "became famous out of nothing") and top business people used to become rich and successful.

You probably know how you use less than 10% of your brain.

Mostly, that's because the majority of your brain's power is UNCONSCIOUS.

Perhaps that conversation has even occurred INSIDE your own head... as it did in my good friend Wesley Virgin's head about seven years ago, while riding an unlicensed, garbage bucket of a car with a suspended driver's license and in his bank account.

"I'm so fed up with living check to check! When will I finally succeed?"

You took part in those types of questions, ain't it so?

Your success story is going to start. You just have to take a leap of faith in YOURSELF.
