Matt Kuchar Battles Elements, Wins Match Play Championship with Bettinardi Putter

(Tinley Park, IL) - Bettinardi Golf, maker of the highest quality precision milled putters in the world, received their second win on the PGA Tour this year. Matt Kuchar defeated the defending champion, Hunter Mahan, 2-up at the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship to beat a field of the top 64 golfers in the world.

Matt Kuchar was using the “Bettinardi Kuchar Model 1” putter when he went the distance defeating Hirouki Fjuita, Sergio Garcia, Nicolas Colsaerts, Robert Garrigus, Jason Day and eventually Mahan in the final match. With this win, Matt Kuchar climbs to 8th place in the World Golf Rankings, and 2nd place in the FedEx Cup Standings.
