Tour Caddies Association Launches Travel & Shopping App

(ORLANDO, FL) – The Tour Caddies Association has launched a travel and shopping app that allows consumers to make purchases with ease and at the same time benefit professional tour caddies.

The app can be downloaded through www.tourcads.com. No ITunes or Google Play account is needed.  The app is very convenient and useful for everyone who books travel and shops online.  Consumers will be supporting the caddies of professional golf just by using the app, at no extra cost to themselves.

“The Tour Caddies Association app just makes life easier for those who book travel and shop online,” said Michael Marini, CEO of the organization. “We bring more than 200 of the world’s most popular websites to your fingertips, without the need for exhaustive Google searches or bookmarking.  Once you experience the convenience of our app, you’ll use it time and time again.”

The TCA was formed in 2013 by veteran Tour Caddies Dean Herden (LPGA Tour), Gary Matthews (PGA Tour) and Basil van Rooyen (PGA & Champions Tour), along with their Financial Advisor Michael J. Marini. The initial objective was to provide financial and job support to caddies working and traveling on the 15 major professional golf tours of the world.

The new app helps TCA accomplish that goal. The association receives a commission from every purchase made by consumers who use the app. A full 100 percent of those commissions are distributed to member caddies to assist with healthcare and retirement benefits.

“Our app is a great for anyone who loves convenience and loves to help people,” said Marini. “By simply using it, you’re helping the hardworking caddies of professional golf at no cost to yourself. Everybody wins.”

Along with benefiting caddies, the TCA has since expanded to serve the needs of tour players, creating the industry’s only one-stop shop where tour caddies and players can get everything they need to succeed at the business of professional golf.

Tour Caddies Association membership is open to caddies working full-time on the 15 major professional golf tours of the world.  Caddies pay a $99 annual membership fee at www.tourcads.com, and are immediately eligible to receive quarterly benefit checks, utilize the player/caddie job connection service and receive discounts on valuable products from the TCA’s business partners.

Tour players can visit www.tourcads.com to sign up for the caddie/player job connection service at no charge, and inquire about player financial advisory services, player management services and player agent representation.
