KemperSports Announces KemperClub Championship

Second annual event to take place at The Prairie Club

(NORTHBROOK, Ill.) – KemperSports announced the dates for the second annual KemperClub Championship. The annual event will take place Aug. 2-5, at The Prairie Club in Valentine, Neb. Coming on the heels of the inaugural event at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort in fall 2014, The KemperClub Championship will be held at a rotating number of top-100 golf courses in the KemperSports portfolio.

The event, which will consist of 40, 2-person teams competing in a fourball format on the Dunes and Pines courses at The Prairie Club, includes three nights lodging, two tournament rounds, breakfast, lunch, & dinner on tournament days, welcome reception and gifts.

“We are excited to bring the second annual KemperClub Championship to The Prairie Club,” said KemperSports CEO Steve Skinner. “It is an absolutely fabulous club with two great golf courses.”

KemperClub is a new initiative from KemperSports that is designed to enhance golfers’ enjoyment with special promotions and events at KemperSports golf courses. KemperClub members will be offered unique experiences and events at more than 100 KemperSports managed properties across the country.

Set amid the rolling hills of Nebraska’s Sandhills region, The Prairie Club includes a pair of top-ranked golf courses as well as the par-3 Horse Course and multiple dining and restaurant options. Designed by Tom Lehman and Chris Brands, The Dunes Course ranks No. 35 on Golf Digest’s list of America’s 100 Greatest Public Courses. Located adjacent to The Dunes Course, The Pines Course ranks No. 75 on the same list and is designed by Graham Marsh.
