MLB, NHL and NFL stars will pair with Canadian Tour pros for the Desert Dunes Classic presented by Riviera Hotel Nov. 3-6
(PALM SPRINGS, Calif.) - Desert Dunes Golf Club will host a collection of celebrities and professional athletes at the 2nd annual Desert Dunes Classic Presented by Riviera Hotel. The Desert Dunes Classic presented by Riviera Hotel is a 72-hole, full-field tournament and the only Canadian Professional Golf Tour stop in the Coachella Valley - runs November 3-6.
NFL hall-of Famers Eric Dickerson, Marshall Faulk and Marcus Allen former Major League standouts Ozzie Smith, Mickey Tettleton, Garry Templeton, Rick Rhoden, Mark Bellhorn, Jermaine Dye and Vince Coleman; NHL legends Grant Fuhr and Marty McSorley, have confirmed their participation to compete in the Desert Dunes Classic under sponsors' exemptions to find out how they stack up against a strong field of international hopefuls including PGA Tour four-time winner and current Golf Channel analyst Notah Begay. Also returning is defending champion, and one of golf's rising young stars - Adam Hadwin (4th in the RBC Canadian Open and top 40 U.S Open)
The celebrities will also participate in the Pro-Am scheduled for November 1.
