Tiger Woods, John Daly Drive PNC Championship to Largest Audience Since 2000

Live Two-Day Coverage on NBC & Peacock Delivered Total Audience Delivery of 2.3 Million Viewers – UP 53% from 2020

(STAMFORD, Conn.) – This past weekend’s PNC Championship, which featured Tiger Woods’ return to competitive golf alongside his son Charlie, averaged a Total Audience Delivery of 2.3 million viewers across NBC and Peacock – marking the most watched PNC Championship since 2000 (2.6 million viewers) and a 53% increase from last year’s event (1.5 million viewers).

In addition, GOLF Channel delivered its two largest audiences ever for the PNC Championship, with Saturday’s coverage posting an event-record TAD of 949,000 viewers, which more than doubled the prior record (430,000 for Sunday coverage in 2020). Peacock presented exclusive early round coverage each day.

Team Woods finished second, two shots behind John Daly and John Daly II. Tiger and Charlie finished seventh in last year’s event.

Additional highlights:

- The NBC television audience peaked at 3.2 million viewers from 3:30pm-3:45pm ET on Sunday.

- A record 24 million minutes of coverage were streamed across all platforms. – nearly 2.5 times the prior record (10 million minutes in 2020).

- The top five markets for Saturday’s NBC broadcast: Fort Myers (4.6 rating), Buffalo (4.1), Cleveland (3.2), West Palm Beach (3.1), Greenville (3.0).

- PNC Championship content accounted for 37 of the 50 most-viewed clips on NBCSports.com last week.
