GolfPac Travel Goes West to Scottsdale On December Episode of Traveling Golfer

(PHILADELPHIA, Pa.) – With desert cactus, the rugged mountains and the warm weather of Arizona as the backdrop … and the modern wonders of Scottsdale lifestyle adding accent … the Traveling Golfer television show shines the spotlight on a spectacular number of heralded golf courses in the December episode.

Following the lead of Managing Partners Marc Bender and Adam Wachter of GolfPac Travel, the company that brings thousands of golfers to Arizona … and other destinations … our production crew discovered an eye-popping array of golf and lifestyle choices.

For all of those reasons, the award-winning Traveling Golfer television show ends 2022 with one of the most visually spectacular and content packed episodes – one that brings the Best of the West to its many viewers.

“Throughout the year we have seen golf travel come out of hibernation,” says Bender, whose expertise extends to every aspect of the golf and hospitality industry. “Now golfers are excited to broaden their travel horizons.” The upscale area of Scottsdale fits perfectly, and Golfpac Travel is well-suited to guide these traveling golfers with their very experienced team led by Director of Operations Karola Schorner who has been with the company for nearly 30 years.

The latest episode of the Traveling Golfer visits top-tier golf courses in the Scottsdale area such as We-Ko-Pa, Quintero, Troon North, Talking Stick, Sunridge Canyon, The Phoenician, and The Boulders. There is even a look at the special 18-hole, par 3 Short Course at Mountain Shadows. At the same time accommodations from spectacular hotels, such as Mountain Shadows, the Phoenician and the Hyatt House Scottsdale Old Town provide a tantalizing exploration in this episode.

As a special bonus, the show explores some of the incredible and diverse dining options in the Scottsdale area – restaurants like Hearth ’61 at Mountain Shadows, Mowry & Cotton poolside at The Phoenician, Citizen Public House in Old Scottsdale and The Mission at Kierland Commons.

“I spent a lot of time in the Scottsdale area a little over 20 years ago,” explains Tony Leodora, host of the Traveling Golfer television show. “I found the modern, upscale town and the rugged surrounding Sonoran Desert to be an amazing contrast in lifestyles. Of course, the golf is among the best desert golf to be found anywhere in America. After watching this show, golfers will be looking to take their game west with GolfPac Travel.”
