SIK, Cobra Partner to Launch First 3D-Printed Putter

(Pinellas Park, Florida)
— SIK Golf, creator of patented Descending Loft Technology, and Cobra Golf, a leader in golf club innovation, today announce a long-term partnership which will see the brands working together on technology that was used in the first 3D Printed commercial putter, launched by Cobra in 2020. The two companies plan to continue working together on future products currently slated for launch in Summer 2021.

This partnership, the genesis of which was SIK Golf partner and long-time Cobra Golf ambassador Bryson DeChambeau, has the common goal of bringing superior putting performance to the masses through SIK’s patented Descending Loft Technology (DLT). COBRA utilized the same technology found in all of SIK Golf’s fully-milled putters in the 3D Printed Supersport-35 putter, reengineered into an aluminum face insert, both saving weight and providing a slightly softer feel than a traditional, all-steel SIK putter. SIK’s signature face design utilizes four descending lofts (4°, 3°, 2°, 1°) to ensure the most consistent launch angle, truer role, and improved distance control for golfers that deloft or add loft to the putter at impact.

“At COBRA Golf we strive to deliver high-performance products that help golfers of all levels play their best and enjoy the game. To do that, it’s important to partner with companies who share that vision and our goal to deliver high-performance, innovative products to golfers,” said Jose Miraflor, Vice President of Marketing, Cobra Golf. “Our partnership with SIK Golf and utilizing their Descending Loft Technology will allow us to create future products that can benefit a wide range of golfers. Bryson has seen a lot of success over the years with his SIK putter and we’re excited to work with the SIK team to continue bringing exciting, Tour-proven products to the market.”

In regard to the exciting partnership, Stephen Harrison, CEO and Founder of SIK Golf, adds, “We’ve been dedicated to developing superior products and educating players about putting and the importance of proper launch conditions for over a decade and the partnership with Cobra is a true validation of our team’s hard work. We look forward to continuing our work with COBRA’s R&D department and Bryson to collaborate on exciting new products that will improve players’ success on the greens.”
