Giants Ridge Courses Honored By Golfweek Magazine

The Quarry and The Legend Both Ranked in U.S. Best Resort and Public Courses


(BIWABIK, Minn.) – Giants Ridge – the Upper Midwest’s leading golf resort set in the rugged beauty of the Mesabi Iron Range – announces both of its championship courses, The Legend and The Quarry, were recognized in Golfweek’s coveted annual rankings.

Golfweek’s “Ultimate Guide to Golf Courses Living and Great Escapes 2020” tabbed The Quarry No. 46 in its “Top 100 Resort Courses in the U.S.” The Legend was recognized among the “Next 100 Resort Courses” in the rankings. The Quarry is also currently ranked No. 63 in Golfweek’s Top 100 Courses You Can Play.”

Golfweek’s elite team of course raters determine the publication’s annual course ranking lists. Each year, the raters survey more than 3,600 layouts, grading each nominated layout based on Golfweek’s 10 standards of evaluation.
