Midwest native and PGA of America member joins Harbor Shores as they prepare to host the
KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship

(NORTHBROOK, Ill.) – KemperSports announced that Kyle Holmes will lead the team as general manager at Harbor Shores in Benton Harbor, Mich. Holmes joins Harbor Shores with almost a decade of experience managing golf properties in the upper Midwest, including general manager duties at Northfield Golf Club and Quail Ridge Golf Club – where he grew golf revenues by more than 20% in two years.

“Kyle’s passion for the game as well as his significant track record of success in the Midwest will be a tremendous asset to Harbor Shores as they prepare to host another senior major championship,” said KemperSports CEO Steve Skinner.

Holmes will lead the team at Harbor Shores as they prepare to host the KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship for the fourth time, May 22-27, 2018, bringing the best of The PGA Tour Champions to Southwest Michigan. The three previous championships have been won by Roger Chapman (2012), Colin Montgomerie (2014) and Rocco Mediate (2016).

Comprising 530 acres and highlighted by the 18-hole, public Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course and ample clubhouse, Harbor Shores enhances the already popular vacation and second-home destinations of Benton Harbor and St. Joseph, Mich.

Harbor Shores continues to serve as a catalyst for community transformation through economic, environmental and social factors.

KemperSports has managed Harbor Shores since it opened in 2010.
