Sea Pines Country Club Unveils Renovated Blue Heron Pub and Grille for Elevated Member Dining

(HILTON HEAD, S.C.) – Sea Pines Country Club (SPCC) – the lone private club within Sea Pines featuring golf, tennis, multiple pools and fitness – opened its freshly renovated Blue Heron Pub and Grille, offering members an exciting, casual dining experience to rival the island’s best restaurants.

The 6,250-square-foot space features a modern design with relaxing features, including expansive views of the tidal marsh and a color palate reflecting the club’s island setting. Blue Heron Pub and Grille also offers outdoor seating with a screened-in patio and deck adjacent to the signature 18th hole.

Executive Chef Brian Coseo has created an eclectic new menu, highlighted by Lowcountry-inspired dishes, shareable appetizers and other signature entrees. Since 2013, Chef Coseo has been dazzling members with creative dishes that are both healthy and delicious. He is a graduate of the prestigious Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York.

“The new Blue Heron Pub and Grille gives members a more relaxed option after a round of golf or a game of tennis,” says Robbie Ames, general manager and chief operating officer. “As the preeminent private club in Hilton Head, we are always looking for ways to enhance the member experience and position the club for vitality and growth.”

LS3P and Sea Pines Country Club members Joy Sherry, Jane Sterne, Carol Ducey and Jeanie Hooper were the interior designers. The design team gathered inspiration from more than 25 different country clubs throughout the Lowcountry, North Carolina, Florida and even Costa Rica.

The expansion and renovation of the Blue Heron Pub and Grille is part of Sea Pines Country Club’s $2.7 million commitment to refresh the clubhouse. A $450,000 indoor and outdoor pool renovation project was completed in April. It entailed modernizing the existing saline indoor pool, the 24-meter outdoor pool, the spa, outdoor deck and building a brand-new children’s splash pool.

The second phase of renovation will include an upgrade and expansion of the club’s fitness center. It will nearly double in size with new locker rooms and the latest equipment to augment personal training and wellness-focused programming.
