Golf Pride Users Sweep Season-Ending Points Races on All Four Worldwide Professional Golf Tours

(SOUTHERN PINES, N.C.) - Eaton announced that its Golf Pride Grips Division was the grip brand of choice for the winners of the recently completed 2017 Race to the CME Globe on the LPGA Tour and the 2017 Race to Dubai points competition on the European Tour. As the points season concludes, Golf Pride claimed all four points races adding its most recent victories to the already completed 2017 FedEx Cup and 2017 Charles Schwab Cup.

With the conclusion of the points series season on all four tours, Golf Pride amassed a total of 140 victories in 2017, with the next closest competitor recording 13. In fact, the brand had 3 distinct performance grip models that claimed more victories than any of its competitors’ entire product lines. Golf Pride’s flagship MCC model claimed 24 victories, while the Tour-leading Tour Velvet won 61 events and the Tour Velvet Cord took 21 trips to the winner’s circle. The company’s fastest growing full cord grip, Z Grip, also achieved 12 tournament triumphs in 2017.

“The 2017 golf season is officially in the books, and we are very proud of Golf Pride’s showing on the worldwide professional Tours this year,” said Brandon Sowell, global sales and marketing director for Golf Pride. “We are honored to be the grip brand of choice for the best players in the world across all major Tours. Additionally, the fact that such a variety of our performance technologies continue to be trusted as the #1 Grip on Tour is validation for us to continually innovate.”

Each week, Golf Pride is the leading grip played from tee-to-green on TOUR with an average of 80% of pros trusting their performance technology in each event, without any paid endorsements.
