Unlimited golf at Great Waters and The Oconee, recognized among the country’s best

(GREENSBORO, Ga.) — Not many golf resorts have one award-winning golf course, let alone two. But golfers coming to Reynolds Lake Oconee can challenge themselves as much as they want on two of America’s Top 100 public courses as part of the “2017 Top 100 Golf Package.”

The Jack Nicklaus Signature Course Great Waters and The Oconee, designed by Rees Jones, both find their way on numerous Top 100 best public course lists including GOLF Magazine, Golf Digest and Golfweek.  And visitors to Reynolds Lake Oconee—located between Atlanta and Augusta, Georgia—can take on these two beauties as many times as they want during their stay.

Ideal for the avid golfer, the Top 100 Golf Package includes a choice of spacious, residential-style accommodations in a cottage or condominium; breakfast each morning; a shared cart for each round; complete range access and bag storage. Unlimited golf is per person, per night of stay on Great Waters and The Oconee, and includes a round on the day of arrival.

The Top 100 Golf Package is $379 per person, per night during peak times, and $309 per person, per night during non-peak times.  The package requires a minimum of two golfers staying at least two nights and can be combined with a guest staying on any standard golf package.

With nine holes along the shores of Lake Oconee, Great Waters offers players some of the most dramatic golf scenery in the Southeast with challenge to match. Lake Oconee comes into play on five holes at The Oconee course, including the dramatic final four. An idyllic sanctuary, the course provides a pure, undisturbed setting with numerous risk/reward options.

And if golf on two of the highest-ranked courses in the country isn’t enough, there are three more courses to which guests have access to on this package, including two among the Georgia’s Top 10: The Landing, designed by Bob Cupp, and The National, by the highly acclaimed Tom Fazio.

All guests at Reynolds Lake Oconee also have access to club fitting and instruction at the Reynolds Kingdom of Golf presented by TaylorMade, as well as numerous on-site dining options, including the nationally acclaimed National Tavern.

Along with its world-class golf courses and restaurants, Reynolds Lake Oconee features four marinas, the Lake Club wellness center, and an award-winning tennis center.

The popular vacation destination continues to unveil renovations, part of a $50 million investment made by MetLife since 2012 that has already included significant upgrades to the golf courses and clubhouses. Additionally, the rooms, cottages, restaurants, spa, and pools of The Ritz-Carlton Reynolds, Lake Oconee have been redecorated and refurbished.
