Product Review: Carnoustie Vardon

Two words come to mind when looking at Carnoustie Sportswear’s Spring 17 line: sophisticated elegance. While those words may be more common when describing formal evening wear, the term certainly translates to the golf course.

From shirts and shorts to sweaters and outerwear, Carnoustie transitions seamlessly from the course to club and out to dinner or drinks.

Looking at one piece, specifically, the Vardon pullover is the quintessential must-have item for any man’s closet (our answer to the “little black dress”).

Lightweight and succulently soft, this quarter zip is offered in a plethora of colors. Opposed to sleeves? No worries ... the Vardon is available as a quarter zip vest, too.

As for performance on the course, the Vardon is roomy in all the right places - shoulders and under the arms - too allow for a free swing. Made from 100 percent cotton, it’s soft, breathable and won’t hold odors like many synthetic fabrics.
