Product Review: Chase54 Ipanema Shirt, Mustang Pullover

When I hear the word Ipanema, I immediately think of the beach and Rio de Janeiro ... Sipping a tropical drink at an outdoor cafe while watching people go by. Now, thanks to Chase54, I’m also going to think about my favorite sport - golf.

The Ipanema golf shirt from Chase54 feels as good as it looks. Probably because it acts like a performance tee I’d wear to the gym, while looking like the classiest shirt in my closet. It’s all in the stretch ... This shirt isn’t going to restrict my swing.

Constructed of 90/10 polyester/spandex, the Ipanema also boasts reinforced seams and a removable powder coated collar stay. And if you’re concerned about sweating through your shirt during a hot, summer round, no worries ... DRYFUZE is the Chase54 answer to moisture wicking. Sweat is pulled away from your body and brought to the shirt’s surface where it can be magically whisked away by Mother Nature.

Speaking of DRYFUZE, the Mustang pullover also utilizes the moisture-wicking technology. Good to know, because those hot rounds can start with a bit of a chill in the air or cool down once the sun begins to set.

Also incredibly stretchy (87/13) with reinforced seams, Chase54 refers to the Mustang’s fabric as “butter soft.” Feeling is believing. I may curl up for a post-round nap in this 1/4 zip.

Mentioned earlier, but worth repeating ... These two items look great, but feel even better. The last thing you want when you’re playing a round of golf is to be restricted by your apparel. Golf is hard enough without battling your clothes.
