Leading Golf Lifestyle Brands Will Spotlight Fashion & Accessories at PGA Merchandise Show Jan. 24-27

Additional Fashion Programming Provides Enhanced Opportunities to Preview New Apparel Trends, Learn the Latest Merchandising Strategies and Network with Designers and Retailers

(PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla.) – PGA Professionals, golf buyers and industry leaders will have a special opportunity to preview the latest golf and resort lifestyle fashions, learn merchandising techniques, source global suppliers and meet with executives of golf apparel market leaders – who will be among approximately 1,000 companies and brands exhibiting at the 64th PGA Merchandise Show, Jan. 24-27, 2017, in Orlando, Fla.

Top apparel companies including: adidas, AHEAD, Antigua, Ashworth, Bermuda Sands, Bobby Jones, Brooks Brothers, Bugatchi Uomo, Callaway Golf Apparel, Carnoustie, Chase 54, Columbia Golf, Cutter & Buck, Donald Ross Sportswear, Dunning Golf, EP Pro, Fairway & Greene, FJ, Full Turn Direct, G/Fore, Greg Norman Collection, Haus of Grey, Imperial Headwear, J.Lindeberg, Lacoste, LinkSoul, Martin Golf, Maui Jim, Oakley, Ouray Sportswear, Page & Tuttle, Peter Millar, PING Apparel, Polo Ralph Lauren, Pukka, Puma Golf, Sport Haley, Straight Down, Travis Mathew, Under Armour, Vineyard Vines and Zero Restriction will present their latest styles in exciting displays on the PGA Show floor within the Orange County Convention Center.

Some 1,000 companies and brands utilize the PGA Merchandise Show, “The MAJOR of Golf Business,” to launch the new season, demonstrate their latest product lines, connect with influential PGA Professionals and golf retailers from around the world, and grow the business of golf. Additional fashion programming is planned for the 2017 PGA Show including: a Live Fashion Show on the PGA Forum Stage; an enhanced Performance & Sports Textile Sourcing section of the PGA Show Floor, fashion-focused displays and a networking area at the PGA Show Fashion Lounge and Fashion Row; a retail and merchandising education track in the PGA Show Education Conference; and a special apparel preview during the annual AGM Product Preview & Reception on the eve of the PGA Show.

On Wednesday evening, Jan. 25, at 6 p.m., the PGA Forum Stage will be transformed for a special evening affair, as industry guests are invited to the PGA Merchandise Show Live Fashion Show. Emceed by Golf Channel host, reporter and writer Bailey Mosier, this live runway production will showcase many of the latest golf lifestyle collections by the industry’s top designers.

Fabric mills and factories from around the world also will exhibit the latest developments in athletic and golf-related apparel in an enhanced Performance & Sports Textile Sourcing section of the Show Floor. Complimentary education sessions will be offered to provide expert insight into technical fabric innovations, international trade policies, American manufacturing and advantages of duty-free sourcing. Attendees and exhibitors will also have an opportunity to make consulting appointments with sourcing professionals who can provide basic sourcing protocol and guidance, plus assist with identifying appropriate suppliers.

The popular PGA Show Fashion Lounge returns to the Golf Apparel Pavilion near the PGA CafĂ© and New Product Zone, providing a central networking area on the PGA Show Floor for designers and apparel buyers, plus displaying many of the latest golf lifestyle apparel collections.  Additionally, several collections will be on display at the PGA Show Fashion Row, located at the main entrance to the Golf Apparel Pavilion.

The PGA Education Conference held at the Orange County Convention Center, Jan. 25-27, features more than 40 seminars, including multiple sessions focusing on retail and merchandising topics, as well as leadership, teaching/coaching, sales/marketing and golf fitness/wellness. PGA Professionals are able to earn more than 30 MSR credits, through participation in PGA Education and PGA Merchandise Show programs.

Also, PGA Merchandise Show buyers and attending PGA Professionals can preview the collections of select AGM partner vendors prior to the official Show opening, as well as network with colleagues at the annual AGM Product Preview and Reception on Tuesday, Jan. 24, 5 p.m. – 7 p.m., in the Level I Lobby of the Orange County Convention Center. PGA Professionals will receive 2 MSR credits (service category) for attending.

Attendance at the PGA Merchandise Show is restricted to PGA Professionals, allied golf association members, golf trade affiliates, commercial buyers and sellers of golf related products and services only.
