Topeka Country Club Members Approve Multi-Million Dollar Clubhouse Expansion, Renovation Project

(Topeka, Kansas) – Topeka Country Club members recently approved a multi-million dollar clubhouse expansion and renovation plan. Architectural plans are currently being developed and then will be sent to the city for approval and permitting. Construction is expected to begin in early 2017. The project, which is estimated to take 12-14 months to complete (weather permitting), is aimed at improving the function and efficiency of the building while updating and expanding the amenities desired by members.

The Topeka Country Club clubhouse expansion and renovation plan includes:
- A new fitness center, group exercise classroom and youth room
- A new golf shop with increased floor space for merchandise
- Expanded bar/lounge and casual dining area
- A new private dining room for small group gatherings

New pool area, including:
- A new main pool with zero-edge entry
- Kids splash pad area
- A new lap pool
- Patio cabanas and tables for outdoor dining
- New pool-side pavilion and stage
- New restrooms

“Our members overwhelming supported this expansion plan and voted to invest in the future of Topeka Country Club,” said Clay Meininger, President/COO, Topeka Country Club. “We’re excited to soon be able to offer new amenities to our current members, while at the same time attracting newer members to this incredible club.”

The original Topeka Country Club clubhouse was built in 1950 and has undergone a number of smaller renovations.
