SKIMP Sponsor of South Florida PGA Pro-Junior Championship

(JUPITER, Florida) – SKIMP, a lifestyle collection of fashionable, colorful accessories to be worn on or off the golf course, served as a sponsor of the South Florida Section PGA’s Pro-Junior Championship, held July 9 at Stonebridge Golf & Country Club, in Boca Raton, Fla.

“It was our pleasure to help support this Pro-Junior Championship,” said Laurent-Alix Huguet, CEO of H4 Distribution, which distributes SKIMP products throughout the U.S. “Junior golf is an essential component of growing the game.”

A representative from H4Distribution was at the event handing all participants, both professionals and juniors, their color choice of a SKIMP belt.

The Championship featured a shotgun start for the 18-hole, 9-9 competition format, with #1-9 better ball and #10-18 scramble. Each team consisted of one professional and one junior. Junior tees were based on age and gender. Professionals needed to be South Florida PGA Members in good standing or Registered Apprentices. Juniors needed to be ages 10-18, reside within the South Florida PGA Section and not enrolled in a university. Lunch and an awards presentation followed play.

SKIMP accessories, designed in France, are attractive and practical, and are being discovered by golfers throughout the worldwide golf community. Introduced to the U.S. in 2015, SKIMP products, presented in easy-to-display packaging to conserve space in golf and retail shops, are priced attractively and appeal to golfers of all ages.
