Troon Launches Women's Golf Month

Troon Facilities Hosting Get Into Golf Clinics, Social Events and More During Month of June

(Scottsdale, Ariz.) – In a continued effort to grow the game of golf, and following a successful Player Development Month in May, Troon facilities throughout the country will celebrate “Troon Women’s Golf Month” throughout the month of June. While Troon focuses on growing participation among all genders and age groups throughout the year, Troon facilities, Troon Golf Academies and their respective teaching professionals are joining together to host introductory golf clinics, fun social events, and special playing opportunities all month long. Like other “Play Troon” endeavors, the goal of this effort is to introduce more golfers to the game and to Troon facilities.

During the month of June (and throughout the year), Troon facilities are continuing to offer new “Get Into Golf” clinics. The Get Into Golf program provides all the tools necessary to give golf a test run, including golf clubs and golf balls, practice range time, a weekly ‘intro to golf’ clinic and ending with a three-hole test run – so participants can get a taste of what it’s like to be on a golf course in a friendly, fun and non-competitive atmosphere.

“Troon facilities and their respective PGA and LPGA teaching professionals certainly are dedicated to growing the game and introducing more golfers to the game,” said Ryan Walls, senior vice president, Troon. “This month our respective clubs and teaching professionals amplify their effort to grow the game whether it be with specific playing opportunities, Nine & Dines, or additional Get Into Golf clinics. The goal with this and our other ‘Play Troon’ initiatives is to make the entry point into golf more accessible, inviting and fun, while introducing more players to the game and to our family of clubs.”

Events in June are geared towards women, but all are welcome to participate.
