Swing Thought Tour Announces Newest Addition to the 2016 National Pro Series Season

Swing Thought Tour Newest Addition to 2016 National Pro Series Season Event at the Willow Creek Golf Course at High Point Country Club

(Myrtle Beach, SC) – The Swing Thought Tour proudly announces the addition of the Willow Creek Golf Course at the prestigious High Point Country Club in High Point, NC to the 2016 National Pro Series schedule. The event will be contested the week of May 2 – May 7, which is the week prior to the popular Web.com Tour’s Rex Hospital Open hosted in Raleigh, NC. This will be the first year for the Swing Thought Tour to host an event at this venue.

“We’re very excited to be adding such a prestigious venue to our National Series schedule,” stated Robin L. Waters, President of Swing Thought Tour. “High Point Country Club will definitely offer our players a challenging and competitive experience that we want our players to face while competing.”

Willow Creek Golf Course at High Point Country Club is a Willard Byrd design located in High Point, North Carolina. It was established in 1964 and measures just over 7,000 yards from the very back tees. High Point is said to be one of the top 30 golf courses in North Carolina. It has been a host for many well-known events such as being one of the locations for US Senior Open Qualifier and US Senior Amateur Qualifier and has hosted the LPGA’s Henderon Classic and Planters Pat Bradley.  Willow Creek has also hosted the North Carolina Open and North Carolina Amateur to name a few of the tournaments. High Point Country Club has been home to many successful PGA and web.com Tour players such as Bubba Watson, Dale Morey, Drew Weaver, Mike Goodes, Roger Watson, and Tommy Langley.

The Swing Thought Tour offers year round National Memberships that includes the upcoming 2016 National Pro Series as well as memberships to all other State Series under the Swing Thought Tour umbrella. The National Pro Series will consist of 18 to 20,  72 and 54 hole events with $120,000 and $150,000 guaranteed purses and 4 to 6,  54-hole Web.com Qualifier Prep events. Fields are limited to 144 players with the top 45 and ties making each cut for the $120,000 purses and 50 and ties making each cut for the $150,000 purses. We will also offer an estimated 4 to 6 2016 Web.com Tour “event specific” exemptions to be awarded throughout the 2016 National Pro Series season. To acquire a 2016 Swing Thought Tour National Pro Series membership, players may register online at SwingThought.com or contact the Swing Thought Tour offices at 800-992-8748 and sign up (memberships are granted on a first come first serve basis, no ranking schools or qualifiers are needed). Membership is $2000 and is year round from the date you join.
