Lexi Thompson Dominates with New KING Driver in the Bag

(CARLSBAD, CA) – COBRA PUMA GOLF athlete Lexi Thompson became the first American to win the Honda LPGA Thailand in the event’s 10-year history. Thompson, who finished with a six shot lead, her largest margin of victory as a pro, put a new KING LTD Driver in play for the first time this week and it certainly paid off. With her victory, Thompson moves to number three in the Rolex Rankings, becoming the top ranked American in the world.

“I’m using the new COBRA KING LTD Driver this week, and it’s worked out pretty well thus far,” Thompson said. “I’ve been working with the COBRA team for a few months, trying to find the right shaft and settings for me. I think we’ve found something that I’m very comfortable with.”

Thompson relied on her COBRA Golf equipment to help fuel her excellent play and ultimately her win. Her bag includes the all-new KING LTD Driver, just one of a family of products COBRA Golf recently released trumpeting the legendary KING name. Fueled by research in space, the KING LTD driver features a revolutionary SpacePort design that allowed COBRA engineers to strategically position the Center of Gravity delivering the lowest CG driver the company has ever made.
