Titles Leads Inside the Ropes at the 2016 Sony Open in Hawaii

(NEWSLETTER) - The PGA Tour is taking a short flight this week, from Maui to Honolulu, as the west coast swing shifts into full gear at the Sony Open in Hawaii.

Two-time defending champion and Titleist Brand Ambassador Jimmy Walker leads a field of 144 players who will take on the 7,044-yard, par-70 layout at Waialea Country Club. It’s sure to be an exciting weekend as the Texan aims for a rare three-peat at the event.

TITLEIST BY THE NUMBERS
A total of 91 players are trusting a Titleist Pro V1 or Pro V1x golf ball for their success at the Sony Open, more than five times the nearest competitor with 16 and more than all competitors combined.

Titleist is also the top choice in the irons (T1-34) category. Vokey Design Wedges topped the approach, sand and lob wedge (174) category and Scotty Cameron putters were the top choice in the putter (58) category.
