Linda Hartough Golf Landscapes to Sponsor 2015 Alliance Golf Cup

(HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C.) – Linda Hartough, world-renowned golf-landscape artist (www.hartough.com), will be a sponsor of the 2nd annual Alliance Golf Cup, to be held Oct. 16-18 at at PGA National Resort & Spa, in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. A box of Linda Hartough-designed custom notecards will be given to every tournament participant. In addition, a framed fine-art canvas Hartough print, The 18th Hole, Swilcan Bridge, St Andrews, will be auctioned, with proceeds to be donated to The First Tee.

“It is my pleasure to serve as a sponsor of this exciting, worthwhile event,” said Hartough, who will attend the tournament, where she will meet the players and speak about her art at the opening ceremony. “The international flavor of the Alliance Golf Cup, as well as its support of The First Tee, will make it a rewarding experience for everyone.”

The Alliance Golf Cup, presented by H4Events USA, features two days of Presidents Cup-style competition between an international and a U.S. team, both vying for the Alliance Golf Cup trophy. Each team will consist of 10 professionals and 20 amateurs, men and women with handicaps ranging from 0 to 20, playing in friendly competition. Last year’s championship, the inaugural Alliance Golf Cup, was won by the U.S. team.

The 2015 Alliance Golf Cup is a partner of The First Tee. As a Silver Partner of The First Tee, the Alliance Golf Cup will donate a portion of the event’s proceeds to help support this organization’s important work.
