BirdieBox Unveils Father’s Day Video Contest

Enter for Chance to Play Chambers Bay

(SCOTTSDALE, AZ) –  BirdieBox – the leading provider of curated golf and lifestyle products – announces a unique Father’s Day promotion wherein participants submit short videos sharing memories of their dad or father figure for a chance to win a twosome at Chambers Bay, valued at $1,000, as part of the Golf Challenge series (August 10th) created by Ernie Els to benefit the Els for Autism Foundation.

Contestants are encouraged to partake by filming vignettes reminiscing how a dear parent, grandparent or family member influenced their life and in what way they plan to pass on support this Father’s Day. The films can be shared socially on the company’s Facebook page, by tagging BirdieBox on Instagram and Twitter, or emailed privately to dad@birdiebox.com.

“Father’s Day is a special time of year, especially for those who enjoy this great game of golf,” says Pat DePirro, CEO of BirdieBox. “We want to make a positive impact across the board by providing a fun and heartfelt contest for our loyal customers while simultaneously promoting and giving back to the Els for Autism Foundation.”

The Golf Challenge is a series of regional golf events open to amateur golfers taking place at prestigious facilities such as Congressional Country Club, Baltusrol Golf Club and Atlanta Athletic Club. By offering the chance to field a two-person team at Chambers Bay, host of the 2015 U.S. Open, this promotion is intended to bring added light to the good work being done by the Els for Autism Foundation.

Furthering support for this great cause, BirdieBox recently partnered with Els for Autism to create a limited edition Father’s Day gift box. A percentage of proceeds from the sales of these boxes will be donated to support the Foundation, which was established in 2009 by Ernie Els and his wife Liezl after their son Ben was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder.

Featuring an extraordinary assortment of golf gear, the Els for Autism boxes are available through BirdieBox.com at three price points ($249.95, $149.95, $79.95), each boasting a total value nearly double the retail cost. Among the items included are TaylorMade TOUR Preferred balls, special-edition “Els for Autism” Daphne’s head cover, Els Collection polo, Zero Restriction outerwear, Stable 26 socks and an I-ONICS Power Sport band.
