Harbor Club Welcomes Golfers During Masters Week

Resort Community Offers Award-Winning Golf Just an Hour’s Drive from Augusta

(Greensboro, Ga.) – Tom Weiskopf came so close to winning The Masters tournament, finishing runner-up four times. But just down the road from Augusta, Weiskopf certainly was victorious with his co-design of a stunning and award-winning golf course at Harbor Club, a 1,000-acre resort community on the shores of Lake Oconee.

For over two decades, Harbor Club has welcomed eager golfers traveling to and from the Augusta area for the year’s first major championship. Tucked halfway between Augusta and Atlanta, the community is the ideal stopping-off point for a round of golf.

While Harbor Club is a gated community, the golf course is open to limited outside play without the requirement of staying as a resort guest. Individual golf tee-times at Harbor Club during Masters Week are offered at $199 (plus tax). Replays are available for $90 (plus tax). Golf includes cart rental, range balls and a Harbor Club golf hat.

The Harbor Club course opened in 1991, the inspired vision of Weiskopf and his golf course design partner, Jay Morrish. The duo routed the course so that it touches the lake six times while winding through wooded hillsides. The course is known for its design diversity, two drivable par 4s, consummate conditioning and a satisfying pace of play.

Harbor Club is a cornerstone of lake and golf living on Lake Oconee, Georgia’s second largest lake. Its golf course is perennially ranked among the top courses in Georgia by national media. It is also a distinguished member of the Georgia Golf Trail, promoted worldwide as one of the top 18 golf destinations in the State.
