Manele Course Ranked No. 2 For Hawaii Golf Among 'Best Resort Courses'

Four Seasons Resort Lānaȉ at Manele Bay Adds New Golfweek Honor To Awards List

(LĀNA‘I CITY, HI) – Its name has changed, but the reputation of the Manele Golf Course at the Four Seasons Resort Lānaȉ at Manele Bay remains the same. The Jack Nicklaus Signature design was again named to Golfweek magazine’s list of “Best Resort Courses,” published in the Ultimate Guide To Golf Course Living and Great Escapes, as well as posted on www.golfweek.com.

One of the elite venues in the game, the Manele Golf Course (formerly known as the Challenge at Manele) is No. 32 overall in the United States. Manele is the No. 2-ranked course out of eight Hawaii Golf destinations on the new list, and one of only two Hawaii courses to crack the top 50.

Having earned numerous awards since opening in 1993, the breathtaking Manele layout is built on lava outcroppings, featuring three holes on the cliffs. Its signature hole is No. 12, a par 3 where the tee area is 150 feet above the crashing surf, challenging golfers with a dramatic shot to the green.

The Four Seasons Resort Lāna‘i at Manele Bay also has earned the Premier Golf Resorts Gold Medal from GOLF magazine and with recent improvements made to the overall golf experience at the Manele Golf Course, golfers continue to discover something new every time they play.

Located on a pristine island a few miles west of Maui, Four Seasons Resorts Lāna‘i reflects a simpler pace of life and the spirit of old Hawai‘i. The resort offers unique cultural adventures, myriad water and land activities to complement its world-class golf: from sailing, snorkeling and diving to horseback riding, hiking, archery, tennis and even croquet. Or get ready for another day of golf with some “rejuvenation time” at The Spa at Manele Bay.

Guests can enjoy two exceptional experiences on one island – either the quintessential beach resort at Manele Bay, or by choosing The Lodge at Koele, in a charming upcountry setting. The resort has recently unveiled enhancements in public areas including the lobby, spa, landscaping, pool spaces and more. These follow a number of restaurant features recently added, such as VIEWS, inside the Manele Golf Course clubhouse; ONE FORTY, an ocean-view American steak and Hawaiian seafood restaurant featuring local ingredients; NOBU LĀNAʻI, and the Sports Bar for casual dining.
