Oliver Goss Starts Professional 'Journey to Better' on PGA Tour

(HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA) – Cleveland Golf/Srixon announced that newly signed staffer Oliver Goss will make his professional debut on the PGA TOUR this week during the Travelers Championship held at TPC Rivers Highlands in Cromwell, CT. Goss, who earlier in the week agreed to terms on a multi-year contract with Cleveland Golf/Srixon, will be playing Cleveland irons and Cleveland wedges, as well as a Srixon golf ball.  Goss will also be wearing a Srixon hat with a Cleveland logo on the sides, while wearing a Srixon glove and carrying a Srixon bag. No additional details regarding the contract were made available.

Goss, a 20-year-old from Fremantle, Western Australia, attended the University of Tennessee for two seasons and set the school record for lowest career stroke average (71.88). On the heels of his runner-up effort in the 2013 U.S. Amateur, he earned starts at both the 2014 Masters and U.S. Open events. Goss was the only amateur golfer to make the cut at this year’s Masters and earned the Silver Cup for low amateur honors.

"Oliver is a great young player and just the kind of young man we want representing our brands,” said Rodney McDonald, Vice President of Tour Operations for Cleveland Golf/Srixon. “We are excited to be a part of his journey"

“I’m looking forward to continuing my relationship with Srixon and Cleveland Golf,” said Goss. “I have played their equipment for as long as I can remember and I’m looking forward to doing so as a professional.”

Goss currently plays a Srixon Z-STAR XV golf ball with SpinSkin technology, Cleveland 588 Forged MB irons (4-9), and Cleveland 588 RTX wedges (48°, 52°, 56°, 60°).
