Product Review: Martin Golf Apparel

As much of the country is settling in for winter, thoughts turn to spring. Critical to playing well in cooler climates - not to mention looking great - is layering. Fortunately, Martin Golf Apparel has style down to an art form.

Comfort meets quality with Martin Golf’s latest line. The fashion-forward company offers Zegna Baruffa Italian merino wool - spun with the highest standards in true Italian style - available in a classic v-neck, three-button polo, windsweater and windvest, all in couple color palates.

There’s also the Baby Alpaca LInks v-neck vest and a top-stitch hand-linked intarsia long sleeve v-neck in the Scottish Highlands Collection. Or a mercerized Peruvian pima cotton that’s featured in the tartans colors in a classic crewneck and a quarter-zip top-stitch diamond vest that is a best seller from season to season. Last, but not least, is the Lux Interlock, also from Peru, that’s knitted in a sturdy-but-soft sweatshirt and quarter-zip long sleeves and vests.

Adding comfort and layering to your golf game has never been easier. What makes Rick Martin’s line special is style. A round of golf could easily be followed up with dinner out ... without everyone knowing you came from the course. Just remember to take your golf glove out of the back pocket and change shoes before entering the restaurant.
