AHEAD, the innovative headwear and apparel company, is a leading supplier of headwear to the PGA of America, USGA, Ryder Cup and numerous PGA Tour events in addition to more than 5,000 green grass and resort shops throughout the world.

“The WGC-HSBC Champions tournament is clearly growing in stature, not only around the globe but especially here in Asia where it is China’s flagship event,” said Magnus Claesson, CEO Asia/CBO New Wave Group. “We are honored to serve as one of the sponsors of the event this year and through 2015, and thrilled that both AHEAD and Cutter & Buck will receive valuable exposure on this international stage.”

The elite field for the WGC-HSBC Champions event includes Phil Mickelson, Rory McIlroy, Justin Rose, Henrik Stenson, Jason Dufner, Graeme McDowell, Brandt Snedeker and defending champion, Ian Poulter. For the first time, the tournament is part of the PGA TOUR’s FedExCup schedule, with money earned counting as official winnings on the PGA TOUR, and the first-place finisher earning a three-year exemption on the PGA TOUR. The purse has increased from $7 million to $8.5 million.
