Product Review: Bionic RelaxGrip Glove

Ladies ... Want superior feel out of your golf glove? How about durability? Looks never hurt, right? How do you get all this at an affordable price? Check out the Bionic RelaxGrip.

The leather palm with synthetic back and padding system combine for the feel and durability. The new caramel palm enhances the look. Bionic helped out on the price - $16.99. This glove comes in small, medium, large and extra large, so we’re all covered.

What about the features? One I hadn’t seen before was the double row finger grip system, touted to promote a lighter, more stable grip. I agree. A padding system also evens out the surface of your hand to promote a lighter, more relaxed grip. A light, stable and relaxed grip does nothing but help your game. Between the fingers, there’s a stretchy material that creates a more comfortable fit, too.

As for the field test ... 18 holes in 80-degree heat. Looks are looks. You like it or you don’t. I like it. Bionic boasts a “patented pre-rotated finger design” that “complements natural closure of the hand and helps reduce fatigue.” While I can’t speak to the mechanics of the engineering, I can say that I played well and my left hand was neither tired, nor sore after the final putt dropped.

There is one negative, however. This glove will not be available for purchase until October. One of the perks of being a golf writer is early access to equipment and courses. But when it is available, I suggest you log onto BionicGloves.com and add the RelaxGrip to your arsenal.
