Among the 123-player field at The Barclays, 79 players (64%) relied upon Titleist golf balls, more than four times the nearest competitor with 16.  Scott closed with a bogey-free, 5-under 66 en route to an 11-under par 273 victory total.  He finished one shot clear of four players, including fellow Titleist Brand Ambassador Graham DeLaet.  Other Titleist golf ball loyalists finishing among the top 10 and ties included D.A. Points (Pro V1x/T6 ), Rickie Fowler (Pro V1x/T9) and Jason Kokrak (Pro V1x/T9).

ACES IN THE HOLE:  K.J. JAPAN/Kansai Open:  Pro V1x loyalist Brad Kennedy captured the Kansai Open title when the final round was cancelled because of heavy rain on Sunday … Kennedy had posted a 10-under 206 total after three rounds, one stroke clear of fellow Pro V1x loyalist Sung-Joon Park … The victory marks the second Japan Tour title for Kennedy, who captured his maiden victory at last year’s Mizuno Open.
