Salish Cliffs Golf Club Announces Significant Revenue Increases

Little Creek Casino Resort’s Amenity Course Records 26% Rise in Rounds Played

(SHELTON, Wash.) - Salish Cliffs Golf Club at Little Creek Casino Resort – the award-winning course located a scenic and easy drive from Olympia and Seattle – posted significant year-to-date growth in several categories, including a 26% increase in rounds played.

Through June, total revenue at Salish Cliffs has grown by 12% year-to-date while retail sales are up 50%.

Contributing to the success of the course is the value it affords golfers with a peak-season, 18-hole green fee of less than $100. Salish Cliffs offers special rates for resort and RV park guests, seniors, military and Players Club members.

“In just our second full season we are seeing substantial growth numbers, bucking the industry trend that has often seen rounds flat or down in many areas of the country,” said Salish Cliffs Head Golf Professional David Kass, PGA.

Salish Cliffs has won numerous awards since opening in 2011, including earning Top-10 status in Golf Digest’s biennial “2013-14 America’s Greatest Courses” by state list and Golfweek’s “Top-50 Best Casino Courses.” The Gene Bates design was also named “Best New Course” by Golfweek and GOLF Magazine in 2011 and made Forbes.com’s list of the “Top-10 Best Value Golf Courses in the U.S.”

Last year, Salish Cliffs became the first “Salmon-Safe”-certified golf course in the world, after successfully passing an exhaustive assessment verifying the Squaxin Island Tribe’s commitment to protecting native habitat, managing water runoff, reducing pesticides, and advancing environmental practices throughout the region.

Rates are $89 (Monday-Thursday) and $99 (Friday-Sunday) including greens fee, cart, range balls before play and tax. Little Creek Casino Resort and RV Park guests receive an additional 10% off, while MVP Player Card holders, Primetime Players (ages 50 and older) and military personnel receive 5% off.

Tee times can be booked with a major credit card up to 30 days in advance at www.salish-cliffs.com. Advanced tee-time booking up to 60 days in advance is available for those with confirmed Little Creek Casino Resort hotel reservations by calling the golf shop at 360.462.3673.

Owned and operated by the Squaxin Island Tribe, Little Creek Casino Resort boasts a variety of amenities. In addition to the highly acclaimed casino and hotel, the resort’s latest hospitality enhancements include the Seven Inlets Spa, a full-service RV Park, and the Skookum Spirit Cigar and Wine Lounge.  The resort regularly attracts headline acts and entertainment at the Skookum Creek Event Center, including live professional boxing and concerts.
