LeBlanc tees up with NIVO at the Open

(Edmonton, AB) – When long-hitting, up and coming LPGA Tour player Maude LeBlanc tees it up in the first round at Royal Mayfair GC Thursday, she will bring a new Perspective to the CN Canadian Women’s Open.

LeBlanc, the 24-year-old from Sherbrooke, PQ, will be wearing the stylish and distinctive golf apparel from the Perspective Collection by NIVO. The LPGA Tour sophomore has been wearing NIVO throughout the 2013 season including the Luminosity, Optic, and Sharp Collections.

“I like everything about NIVO – the colours, the diversity, the textures – it is all so comfortable to wear,” said LeBlanc, who led the Tour in average driving distance (282. 6 yards) last year. “When you look great on the golf course, it just makes you feel and play better.”

Apropos of the CN Canadian Women’s Open championship, LeBlanc’s opening day NIVO outfit is a combination of red and white featuring a polo with Cool Best II Pique. The polo can be paired with a skort or shorts in a deli-cool polyester/nylon/spandex blend. The entire NIVO line features wicking properties and UV protection.

Looking great on the course is just part of it for LeBlanc, winner of the 2006 Canadian Junior Championship and the 2010 NCAA Championship playing for Purdue University. Fit and function are also key, especially when you are a professional athlete and stand 6 ft. 1 in.

“I have found most golf apparel tight, especially at the shoulders,” LeBlanc explained. “I really like the cut of NIVO. I feel that my movement is not restricted at all. And there is so much variety and so many combinations; I can wear NIVO off the course as well. That’s another reason why NIVO is so great, all around.”

“We are delighted to have Maude as a NIVO ambassador,” said Diane Lanctôt, President of Lanctôt Ltée. “On and off the course she personifies the NIVO attitude and style. We wish her the best of luck at the CN Canadian Women’s Open and throughout the rest of the season.”
