KemperSports Properties Recognized in GOLF Magazine’s Top 100 Courses List


Eight KemperSports facilities recognized in bi-annual list featuring best courses in the U.S. and World

(NORTHBROOK, Ill.) – KemperSports, the most trusted name in golf, announced today that seven of its properties were featured in GOLF Magazine’s Top 100 Courses in the U.S. and four properties were featured among the Top 100 in the World. The bi-annual list, which was published in the September issue of the magazine, utilizes a two-year rating system based on the input from a prestigious group of golf writers, industry veterans and raters.

"It is a true honor to have so many of our public golf facilities ranked among the best in the U.S.,” said KemperSports Chief Executive Officer Steve Skinner. “These honors are a true testament to the vision of our clients and the quality of the staff that manages each facility.”

KemperSports-managed properties that were honored include:

U.S.:
No. 12 – Pacific Dunes – Bandon, Ore.
No. 34 – Bandon Dunes – Bandon, Ore.
No. 45 – Old Macdonald – Bandon, Ore.
No. 49 – Bandon Trails – Bandon, Ore.
No. 52 – Streamsong (Red) – Streamsong, Fla.
No. 62 – Streamsong (Blue) – Streamsong, Fla.
No. 64 – Chambers Bay – University Place, Wash.

World:
No. 20 – Pacific Dunes – Bandon, Ore.
No. 63 – Bandon Dunes – Bandon, Ore.
No. 82 – Cabot Links – Inverness, Nova Scotia
No. 88 – Old Macdonald – Bandon, Ore.

Both courses at Streamsong Resort launched in to the top-100 at nos. 52 (Red) and 62 (Blue) – the highest rankings for a new course on the list.

All four 18-hole courses at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort, which has been managed by KemperSports since opening in 1999, were featured among the top-50 courses in the U.S. – the most of any one resort or destination in the country. Cabot Links, in which KemperSports is a part owner, debuted on the list at no. 82.
