Golf in Silicon Valley goes High Tech with HD Golf Simulators

(San Francisco, CA) - Golfers in San Francisco now have two options for playing Pebble Beach - the real course or the simulated version - as a new virtual golf center opens its doors.

"This technology is used by the greatest golfers in the industry, from PGA Tour Pros to renowned instructors. Now everyone in the city can leverage this tool to help improve their game and lower their scores," says Suneet Sudan, owner of City Golf. The new facility is now open in Pleasanton, a suburb in The Bay area.

Golfers will be able to practice and play on six High Definition Golf simulators. The facility is also offering individual and group lessons, private party and event bookings, club fitting and repair. Sudan says he is planning on setting up tournaments and league nights. "Rain or shine, day or night - you can now play on the greatest courses in the world," says Sudan.

With San Francisco being both the technology capital and having some of the world's greatest courses, Sudan knew he had to invest in the best simulators available to keep customers coming back. "If you are looking for the best - there's only one choice," says Sudan. "Most people have seen a simulator before - they all look like blown up video games. Golfers are amazed by the difference when they play HD Golf."

Interactive Sports Technologies, the company behind High Definition Golf simulators, combines high-resolution digital images, satellite data and geophysical data to build accurate life-like replicas of each course on its system. Patented stereoscopic computer vision technology delivers the most precise club swing and ball flight data in the industry. "This is as close as it gets to a real game of golf," says Sudan.

Indoor golf centers across the U.S. are installing HD Golf simulators for its realism, accuracy and suite of integrated tools like Golf Center Management Software. This tool helps business owners easily manage bookings; tournaments and leagues; and track player scores.
