(Hilton Head Island, S.C.) – The International Junior Golf Tour (IJGT) – one of the leading competitive circuits for elite golfers in grades 5-12 – will host the 18th annual “Bridgestone Golf Tournament of Champions” May 25-27 at Grand Cypress Resort in Orlando, Fla.

Among the most prestigious events in junior golf, the field represents 21 U.S. states and 18 countries. The tournament is a three-day, 54-hole competition for ages 9-19 in three divisions: Boys 15-19, Boys Under-14 and Girls Under-19.

Top finishers in each division will receive elite tournament exemptions including the Bobby Chapman Junior Invitational, The Players Amateur, Veritas Junior World and South Atlantic Championship (Girls Under-19). American Junior Golf Association Performance Stars are awarded in select divisions to  Top-20 finishers.

“The Bridgestone Golf Tournament of Champions is an opportunity for our elite competitors to put their game to the test against top juniors from around the world,” says Peter Orrell, CEO of Junior Sports Corporation, owner and operator of the IJGT. “Home to 27 world-class holes by Jack Nicklaus, Grand Cypress serves as the ideal venue for an event of this magnitude.”
