Back9Network and ING establish strategic partnership

(HARTFORD, CONN.) - Back9Network, a lifestyle multiplatform media company, announced the formation of a strategic partnership with International Network of Golf (ING). Through the partnership, Back9Network and ING will share digital content and extend the marketing footprint for both organizations as Back9Network prepares to launch on cable/satellite in the near future. Since 1990, ING has been facilitating communications for golf industry media, manufacturers, and services companies through forums and conferences around the world.

“We are delighted to welcome ING to our growing list of partners”, said James L. Bosworth, CEO of Back9Network.  “For almost a quarter century, ING has built an extensive membership of lifestyle –related golf companies, and reaches over 6 million golfers through those members. We look forward to maximizing our mutual reach to this significant demographic.”

“We have watched the development of Back9Network with great anticipation,” said ING Founder & Executive Director Mike Jamison. “Back9’s visionary leadership has built a diverse and creative team to deliver this exciting new media platform to a hungry golf audience. Back 9 can be a leader in expanding golf’s reach to a contemporary and diverse audience, and ING is excited to be a part of that. We believe it is a very beneficial relationship.”

Back9Network, which made its online debut in 2012, is focused on all the things golf fans love about playing and living the game. Back9Network has started construction on its state-of-the-art TV studio and video production facility in downtown Hartford, Conn., which is quickly becoming the sports media capital of the world with ESPN, NBC Sports and YES Network also based in the state.
