Royal Albartross Launches Mens 2013 Collectors Golf Shoe Range

Royal Albartross, the brand behind the world's most luxurious golf shoes, has responded to an increasing demand from men by launching a new Collector's range every bit as stylish as their first collection. What is the difference, you may ask? Well the latest styles are made on a traditional round-toe last shape, as opposed to their ground-breaking and eye-catching predecessors featuring a squarer toe shape, renowned for their comfort factor.

The British shoemaker has unveiled several new designs for men which marry classic and contemporary British design, Italian leathers and craftsmanship with American cleat technology. This unique combination has created a shoe of international design status with out-of-this-world comfort and fit.

Alex Bartholomew, founder of Royal Albartross and chief designer of the new mens range, said: "Ever since the launch and international success of our first men's range, we've had golfers requesting a classic version to add to their golf shoe collection. Bartholomew added: "The entire experience of wearing our golf shoes is designed for your pleasure - from our bespoke packaging and the beautiful leather smell as you open each shoe box, through to being able to walk the entire course comfortably."

The Collectors Range 2013 draws inspiration from the golfing greats: Bob Hope, Bobby Jones, Payne Stewart and Arnold Palmer. through vintage-look leathers, piped detailing and a retro-sport feel. Albartross know their clients share their love of the often overlooked details in life, and that's why their sourcing team travel the world for the highest quality materials and leathers from the most reputable tanneries. They have mastered combinations of high-tech insoles, breathable linings and varying cleat placements to cushion and balance your every step on the course.

The collection encompasses two key men's styles in multiple colorways. Think irresistible leather uppers and soles, polished lace tips, hand stitched accents and carefully considered brogue detailing. By making use of Champ thread receptacles and Zarma 2 Cleats they have reduced any excess weight in the sole, improving comfort without affecting stability or traction.
