Golf Pride Brings ‘Performance That Commands Attention’ To Grip Category With Introduction of Niion

(SOUTHERN PINES, N.C.) - Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton announced that its Golf Pride grips division is unveiling its innovative new Niion collection of grips at the 2013 PGA Merchandise Show.  The Niion line blends striking fluorescent colors with innovative new textures and unique patterns to deliver unmatched feel and moisture channeling performance, and is sure to set golfers apart from the rest of their foursomes.

The Niion line features five uniquely vibrant color combinations (Blue/Neon Yellow, Bright Orange/White, Lime Green/White, White/Neon Green and Bright Yellow/Blue) all constructed of a firm, tacky rubber compound suitable for both serious and recreational players.  In fact, Niion has the distinction of being Golf Pride’s firmest and most durable all rubber grip thanks to the proprietary newly developed rubber curing process used in its production. The new line also utilizes an advanced tri-texture surface pattern to deliver superb traction and all-weather control.  In addition, the proprietary Hexagon technology pattern provides increased stability and torsional control throughout the swing, leading to one of Golf Pride’s most responsive and easy to control grips ever.

“It’s no secret that color is in, and we’re certainly bringing that with the addition of our Niion line,” stated Brandon Sowell, global sales and marketing manager for Eaton’s Golf Grip Division. “However, the Niion is about much more than just cosmetics.  The new texture and pattern technologies offer performance unlike anything currently available in the marketplace and the unique material construction makes these grips a great choice for anyone from touring pros to weekend golfers.”

In addition to the bold looks and outstanding performance, the all rubber construction of the Niion collection grips makes them incredibly durable and easy to clean.  The Niion collection features a street price of $7.99 per grip and will be available through golf specialty stores and green-grass retailers beginning February 2013.
