Golf Media Network, The A Position Expand Reach with Four New Members


(Portland, Ore.) – Golf Media Network, parent company of theAposition.com, signed four new contributing editors. They join more than 50 of the best journalists, photographers, videographers, and instructors creating golf content for a network of dozens of websites focused on travel, equipment, instruction, lifestyle and other golf-related subjects.

Robert Kaufman, of Marin County, Calif., is an award-winning photographer and travel writer whose work has been published in a wide variety of publications worldwide for more than 35 years. His founding of Golf Today Magazine (1987) and subsequent six-year reign as publisher and editor was the beginning of 25 years as a media entrepreneur. Aubrey McCormick played on the LPGA Futures Tour and starred on the Golf Channel’s Big Break Atlantis. She brings an insider’s view to golf writing, expressing the perspectives of women and younger players. She is also a staunch environmentalist and will cover the positive stories in golf about protecting the environment. Andy Waple has worked on regional dailies in the UK for 35 years, where he interviewed several Prime Ministers and covered business and politics.
