Sundog Eyewear raises the bar again for 2013

With industry-leading Mela-Lens technology, Sundog Eyewear is synonymous with the finest sunglasses designed specifically for golfers. For 2013, Sundog again raises the standard for eye protection combined with trend-setting style in eight new models including Paula Creamer’s dramatic Passion, and two Limited Edition Bent models in commemoration of Louis Oosthuizen’s historic shot at the 2012 Masters.

The 2013 Sundog Eyewear Collection features 22 exclusive styles ranging from sleek performance to fashion forward casual models ideal for both on and off the golf course. Also new to the Collection for 2013 are the exciting Draft, Bolt, Illusion, Ellwood, Mach, and Prelude designed for women.

Paula Creamer now has six styles in her signature Paula Creamer Collection with the addition of her sleek new Passion model. Since the debut of her first Collection in 2007, the nine-time winner on the LPGA Tour has been instrumental in designing her Sundog Eyewear.

Passion joins Paula’s popular Freestyle, Aura, Iconic, Bravo, and the popular Captiva designed for smaller face shapes.

Louis Oosthuizen, winner of the eight international tournaments including the 2010 Open Championship, redefined ‘Genuine Performance’ at the 2012 Masters. He is the first player in the iconic event’s storied history to record a double eagle 2, an Albatross, on the 575-yard par 5 second hole. ‘Oosty,’ from Mossel Bay, S.A., sank his four iron shot from an astounding 253 yards.

To commemorate his historic performance, the 2013 Sundog Eyewear Collection includes Limited Editions of the two custom BENT Mela-Lens models Louis wore at The Masters: the white frame version he wore during the first three rounds, and the custom South African tribute frame he wore when he made that incredible shot. Both are now appropriately named BENT Louis Albatross.

Tour Proven, Sundog’s revolutionary Mela-Lens offers golfers superior vision protection to help improve performance. “Mela” is an abbreviation for Melanin, a naturally produced pigment that acts as a sunscreen protecting the eyes and skin from dangerous UV and "blue" light. Exclusive to Sundog Eyewear, Mela-Lens utilizes synthetic melanin to filter blue light and block ultra-violet light for the ultimate in protection and performance. The benefits are enhanced definition, superior glare reduction, maximum visual clarity, and soothing visual comfort.

The 2013 Sundog Eyewear Collection is available in Mela-Lens Original, Mela-Lens Photochromic, and Mela-Lens Polarized models. For more information on Mela-Lens technology and the entire Sundog Eyewear Collection visit www.sundogeyewear.com.
